Thanks everyone — the cards started taking over my china hutch! My wall of fame…

Happy Holidays!

Thanks to all of my family, friends, clients, and colleagues that have sent me Christmas cards! I love the holidays and getting cards is half the fun of it, and so far they have covered half of my dining room wall!

Thanks and Happy Holidays to everyone!!

Newport, Oregon

Last weekend I went to the coast with my family, four generations of the Ash women. We had a great time hanging out and just enjoying each other (unfortunately we don’t get to do that very much). We spent some time window shopping but my favorite thing was the Oregon Coast Aquarium. I had no idea it was so fabulous! I grew up on the coast in California so the ocean and sea life is not a big deal to me at all, actually it bores me. But this aquarium was great! I wasn’t bored at all! If you haven’t been it’s a must see, especially the underground walk through caves.

This shot reminds me of where I grew up. We had a big bridge on one side of town and you had to cross it to get to the other side. We also had a lot of sea lions hanging out on our fishing docks.

I liked the design of this architecture:

A beautiful log lit up by the night lights:

Scary sharks swimming over my head!

These jelly fish were dancing for me. It was beautiful watching them:

We found some cabins right on the beach. They were great and had a kitchen and everything! The sad thing is is that they are tearing them down to build a huge condo. A view from where we were staying:

Email Issues

I have had two clients contact me within the last day to tell me they sent me print orders over the weekend but I never received the emails. If you sent me an email anytime between Friday until now to my info@saralilphoto.com or sara@saralilphoto.com addresses nd never received a reply then I did not get the email.

Please email me at saralilphoto@gmail.com or call me at 541.738.6160 to place an order. Hopefully my other email accounts will be up and running shortly. Thanks for your patience.

Persimmons

Ever wonder about those fruit that are suspended in the air long after harvest season is over? They are persimmons. Our new house has a persimmons tree. My hubby said they taste like an apple but I don’t agree! However, they are a beautiful and unique fruit.

Chris & Ashley | Engagement Session in Lebanon Oregon

(Please bear with me — I’m still learning how to post pictures in a bigger format so if something looks odd or out of place please let me know. Thanks!)

I photographed Chris & Ashley yesterday. We had a great time! They are such a sweet, loving couple. I am really looking forward to their wedding next June at The Garden in the Woods.

It was so sweet, everytime they kissed Ashley would lift her leg:

If you follow my blog you know that I LOVE sun flare and playing with light in my photos. Below are a few that I captured yesterday. Love it! …

Ashley’s comments, “I just wanted to say thank-you so much for the great engagement photos, we love them! And another thank-you for getting them up so quickly! They are exactly what we had in mind!”
