“Paris Night Walks” Art Show | Corvallis Oregon Photographer

If you are in the downtown area of Corvallis I have an art show titled “Paris Night Walks”displayed at the Footwise window which is located on the corner of 3rd and Madison Street. I am also showing some of my “SoulFotos: Images & Quotes That Feed Your Soul.” My show will be hanging through the month of May. I plan to go down there sometime this week to take some some photos of it which I post on the blog. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my travel photography as much as I do!

Thank you to my sister Onna and husband Joe for helping me hang the show!

[I have been super busy lately with all kinds of projects so I apologize for not blogging much.]

Update: Below is a photo of the art show but it’s really hard to see the photographs because of all the glare on the window from the sun and the lights of the buildings around it. So if you want to see the photos up close you’ll have to go down there:)

Lovely.

Art Show @ Sam’s Station

Have you ever been to Sam’s Station? It’s a great restaurant in town! It’s sort of a secret as only the locals really know about it — they don’t even advertise and they are always packed. They have great breakfast and lunch as well as wonderful baked goods and coffee drinks. I think every visiting guest I’ve ever had I’ve taken to Sam’s Station!

My art show at Sam’s Station is hanging through June so go check it out. The info:

1210 NW 29th St
Corvallis, OR 97330

So full of charm, friendly and quaint:

One of my friends said to me that she would like to be able to see my art show images better on my blog. I purposely don’t show them up close because I want you to go to the venue and see them for yourself…

If anyone reading my blog is interested in having me display my work in your business or venue I’d be happy to accommodate! Please contact me at sara@saralilphoto.com to set it up.

Sweetpeas Kids’ Cafe Event This Friday!

Art Show @ Sweetpeas Kids’ Cafe !

For the next few months I have work on display at Sweetpeas Kids’Cafe! If you haven’t been there yet it’s a must! I stopped by when they first opened and loved the place. It’s the perfect place to bring your kids and let them play while you have a mocha. They also serve organic, healthy snacks. The details:

Art Show @ Creekside Coffee Co.

This month I’m having an art show at Creekside Coffee Company on Philomath Blvd. It’s a trendy coffee house located on the backside corner of the Philomath shopping center. If you haven’t been there go check it out!

(I had one difficulty with displaying this show — I had to hang my art pieces on pre-existing hooks. The owners don’t want new nails put in the wall. It was hard to get everything to look right with such limitations and it didn’t exactly turn out the way I envisioned it.)

Art Show @ Bomb’s Away Cafe

I was coordinating an Art Show for 2008 when I was asked to do one this year at Bomb’s Away Café. At the time I only had my flower pictures to display but fortunately I was able to get a few others matted and framed before the October 15th deadline. Bombs Away has unique Mexican food – it’s all organic and locally grown — and live music Wednesday-Saturday. When you get a chance go down and check out my work. I’d love to hear some feedback.

Special thanks to my wonderful husband for helping me hang the display in the short allotted time that we had. I love you babe. Thanks for all your love and support!

PS I had the wrong lens on me and when I get a chance I’ll go there and take some better shots that show the ambiance of the place.

June Art Show at Red Horse Coffee Co.

Today I spent the afternoon hanging my art show at the Red Horse Coffee Company which is located on 310 SW Third Street in Corvallis. I had the help of my wonderful husband and loving mother and grandmother. Below are pictures of all of us hard at work.

My display includes two series of flower groupings that I photographed this year. The first is titled “Magnolias in the Snow” and the second one is titled “Springtime Blooms”. Please stop by the coffee shop and take a look — the display is only through June. All art pieces are for sale and please inquire via email if you are interested in purchasing them. Thanks!

More Art Show Possibilities…

I’m having a hard time deciding which pictures to hang in my Art Show. Here are some flower photographs that I’ve taken. If anyone has any opinions I’d love to hear them. Just hit the “comments” section on the bottom right of this blog and let me know what you think.
