I had so much fun photographing Heather! I met her at her family ranch in Roseburg a few weeks ago. She decided to ride barefoot and bareback – LOVE IT!
Thanks Heather! I had fun and it was great meeting your family![]()
John and Amanda were winners of my Day After session contest that I had back in January. We were just now able to get the session done. We had to reschedule several times due to the weather and work schedules conflicting. As it turns out this week worked perfectly to do their shoot because it was their one year anniversary!
We had a fun time on Sunday! We started off downtown and ended at her family farm.
My good friend and colleague Angela helped me out. I shot with the wide lenses and she shot with the long lens – it worked out well and we always have fun shooting together! Thanks for coming along Angela!
Fun! Fun:
And back at the farm:
Angela took this of me working:
Me and Angela kickin’ it on the tailgate of the John’s pickup — it reminded me of the good ole’ college days of going to the river and hanging out in pickup trucks! Luckily John didn’t drive too fast otherwise we would have definitely fallen out! You can see our shadows on the road:
I so love the country!
I had a great time — thanks Amanda and John and Happy Anniversary!

I feel that an important part of being a Professional Photographer is to attend trainings, seminars, workshops and “shoot outs” to better ourselves. The local photographers and I gathered on Sunday to practice our shooting techniques and “talk shop”.
One of the models showed up at my house early so I decided to use the time wisely and photograph her on and around my property. Here are just a few of the images I came up with:
More from this shoot later in the week….
