Reed and Naomi were so much fun! I think we laughed through most of their session!! They are getting married in Scotland next year and wanted some engagement photos with an Oregon feel to them, so of course we went into the woods for their shoot. Lisa and Torrii own the store Journey’s in Salem. They needed some business head shots, so I took some of those and then captured some great images of them together. I’ve been busy with a lot of commercial shoots lately which I usually don’t blog, but I do have several portrait shoots to blog I just haven’t found the time. Busy season is here full force and I still hope/plan to blog regularly, it just might be more sporadic.
I’m on my out the door to go on a girls night out in the city (I’m so excited!) but I wanted to show you this image really quickly. There’s something special about it — it looks like their heart chakra’s are glowing…. whatever it is it’s pretty cool:
Last week I had so much fun with Cody and Pamela! It was a beautiful fall day and we went to several locations around Corvallis. I love engagement sessions because it’s a time when I get to know the couple — we get to have fun and enjoy our time together without time constraints.

I photographed Akshya and Dee’s engagement session last month on one of the warmest days of the month – we had to reschedule once due to rain and luckily this day turned out great! A few weeks ago Sam and Tara met me in Newport for their engagement session. It was 90 degrees here but when we got to the coast it was 60 degrees, overcast, and windy. I had such a wonderful time spending the morning with Matt and Becky for their engagement session! We started off at a park in Lebanon and then ended at Matt’s parents house which is where their wedding reception is going to be.
