Stephen & Whitney flew into Portland on Wednesday for their engagement shoot at Multnomah Falls. That morning it was raining but luckily it cleared up just for us! We had a great time hiking around and getting some fun images!

I absolutely LOVE engagement sessions! It allows the bride, groom and I to get to know each other in a relaxed and fun environment. Plus, the couple gets awesome pre-marriage images!

Stephen and Whitney picked Oregon to have their destination wedding because they saw some photos of Oregon and thought it was beautiful. How cool is that?! They are getting married in September in Cannon Beach. As you can tell from the pictures they really enjoy each other and are tons of fun! Thanks guys — I can’t wait for your wedding!

I photographed Chris & Ashley yesterday. We had a great time! They are such a sweet, loving couple. I am really looking forward to their wedding next June at The Garden in the Woods.

Bruce and Jenna are getting married next summer at Atavista Farm but we did their engagement photos today so that we could have fall colors in them. Fall colors we got! They turned out beautifully! I absolutely love this time of year. Thanks guys for the fun day and the lovely hike.

I love doing engagement shoots because I really get to know the couple and see how they interact together. Colette and Jeremy were so much fun — their love for each other is so obvious and they just really enjoy one another which is a pleasure to see!

They are getting married in July at Willamette Valley Vinyards.

Friday was a gorgeous day, luckily because we had to reschedule the shoot once already due to the weather (I will shoot indoor photos but prefer not to as I like natural light and nature backgrounds rather than studio style). There are so many shots of Libby and Brain that I love so I blogged a lot. I can’t wait for their wedding at Atavista Farm Bed & Breakfast in Brownsville in July. It’s going to be such a lovely event and they are going to look gorgeous!! Look at them – they are gorgeous and a lot of fun!

Libby and Brian: I had so much fun Friday thanks for the great time and thanks for inviting me into your home and sharing your wedding plans with me. I love hearing all about the details and I really enjoyed getting to know you better. It was also very nice to meet your talented sister Sarah and your dog Allie.

Yesterday I photographed Amanda and John. It was a gorgeous day and we had a great time walking around talking. I always enjoying hearing how couples met and how their wedding plans are going. Congratulations to you both!
