Today the Chamber came to my studio to give me a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. My husband took this photo:

I’m now an “official” business in Corvallis. Yippee!
This year I am sponsoring an event close to my heart: Relay for Life at Oregon State University. This event is the largest fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The reason it is close to my heart is because when I was in college my Mom, Dad, and cat all had Cancer in the same year. It was absolutely devastating. Luckily, my parents survived the Cancer.
We need all the support we can get at this event! The event is this weekend May 14th & 15th in the Memorial Union Quad. I donated a gift certificate for the silent auction as well as provided a special discount to the participants . For more information go to the website:
Luminaries are written in memory or in honor of somebody’s battle against cancer. Below is a beautiful photo taken of the luminaries by Michael Lee:

I posted about this a month ago, but decided to post again because people have been so happy with this suggestion and Mother’s Day is this Sunday! When was the last time your parents had their portrait taken together? Or the whole family?!? It’s the perfect gift…
A great gift idea for a mom that has everything is a portrait session for her and her family. All the Mom’s I know would love this gift! I offer beautiful gift certificates that make a great present:

If you are interested in purchasing one please contact me or come by my studio. My schedule has changed and I am at the studio now on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s (unless I’m out shooting)!
These gift certificates were made by my very talented friend Ashley of AEL Designs.
When was the last time you had your portrait taken? Grab your mom, girlfriends, kids, whomever and come to the Garden event this Friday at Atavista Farm in Brownsville! There will be all kinds of fun stuff going on!! Here’s the info:

I hope to see you there!! ♥ Sara
The Open House turned out fabulous! There was a steady flow of people the whole time and it was great to see everyone. Thanks so much for stopping by!! Unfortunately I did NOT appoint anyone to take photos so I don’t have much to show. I took a few photos before the event started:
