This is a three generation family photo shoot. I love doing these kind of photo sessions with all the combinations of family, and it’s so fun for me to go to new places to shoot. This family was great — most of them were visiting from other states. It was an honor to capture their families!:

If your pregnant you should consider a maternity session. It’s a great way to remember this special time in your life, and it’s documentation will end up being a family heirloom someday. My special ends February 28th:
I recently photographed cute little “D”. It was a mini photoshoot and pouring down rain that day so I mostly took indoor photos, but during one of the rain breaks we ran outside for a couple of shots. I love meeting new people and it was especially fun photographing little “D”. He’s a doll and his family is so sweet. Vivian, his mom is constantly smiling which is great energy to be around! It’s contagious – I think I smiled all day after that shoot!! Thanks for trusting me to capture your family!! Below are a few of my favorites:
I had a great day last week at the park with Karter and his parents! It turned out to be a gorgeous fall day!! I feel so lucky to have such wonderful clients — Chris and Ashley had me photograph their wedding, maternity photos, Karter’s new born photos and now his one year old pictures. Thanks to you both for allowing me to capture your beautiful family – I feel honored to be a part of the milestones in your life! ♥
When I photograph families I like to capture them as they are — I don’t do a whole lot of posing or directing. I interact in a natural, fluid way that works well for me to get great candids with real expressions. I prefer to stand back and capture the moments as they happen. Below are some wonderful images I got of the R family. We started in my studio and ended in the park. It was fun day full of play, smiles, and great moments!
