I love these girls! I’ve known them my whole life and they are very special to me. They live in California so I rarely see them but they came up to visit last month and we did a mini photo shoot. I especially love the first image because of their expressions, it’s so them!!:

I read over and over that to succeed in the photography business you must have a niche. I’ve honestly been looking for my niche for eight years now, since I started this business. I’ve recently come to a realization that the truth is I don’t want to just photograph one type of thing, i.e. a “niche”. I love variety, I love surprise, I love working with all kinds of people and situations — I love it all!
So if someone asks me my niche I am just going to reply with “I photograph everything!” because I do and I’m happy doing it!
I had a fun time getting to know baby Karter at the Holidays! I went to Chris and Ashley’s to photograph the cute little guy and we hit it off well! He’s so adorable!

Now that spring is here I have a ton of shoots coming up so I better hurry and post the ones that I haven’t gotten to.
