It’s that time of year again for high school senior portraits! I had a great time photographing Larissa the other day — we went to all kinds of cool locations! Below are some of my favorites:
Thanks for the fun photo shoot Larissa!!
I read over and over that to succeed in the photography business you must have a niche. I’ve honestly been looking for my niche for eight years now, since I started this business. I’ve recently come to a realization that the truth is I don’t want to just photograph one type of thing, i.e. a “niche”. I love variety, I love surprise, I love working with all kinds of people and situations — I love it all!
So if someone asks me my niche I am just going to reply with “I photograph everything!” because I do and I’m happy doing it!
This is Jareson, a high school senior who I photographed last fall at Oregon State University. Here are some of my favs:
I’ve been looking for the perfect location for my studio and I finally found it! It’s located in Corvallis in the Madison Avenue Plaza behind Noah’s Bagels and Starbucks. I’ve been busy the last couple of weeks getting it ready and just finally finished. Let me know what you think!!:

View from the front door:

Stop by and say hi — I’ll be there various times throughout the week. The address is 425 SW Madison Avenue, Suite C in Corvallis, Oregon.
I will be having a grand opening in the next month or so. If you’d like to know more about that sign up for my newsletter (you can sign up for it at the very bottom of this blog). I will be sending out an announcement via the newsletter with various offers and discounts that will apply if you attend the open house!
This is what it looked like before all my hard work (and my husband’s hard work too – thanks Joe!!):
I have had the vision of this studio in my head for years and now it’s come true! I’m SO excited!! There are so many great things planned for 2010 and I can’t wait to introduce them all to you… stay tuned!! ♥ Sara ♥
I’m catching up on my blog posts. I had a great time photographing him on his family’s property. I think I was laughing the whole photo shoot — thanks for being so fun Jimmy! Here are a few of my favorites:
