Brian | Corvallis Senior Portrait Photographer

Recently I photographed Brian for his senior portraits. I always really like photographing high school seniors. It’s fun chatting with them — hearing about their future plans, what they like to do for fun, and what’s cool and what’s not! It was great getting to know you a little bit Brian! Below are some of my favorites:

Note to Seniors: Please don’t wait until the last minute to get your photos taken. The turnaround time on a photo shoot is generally 2-3 weeks so when you wait until the last minute it puts added pressure on the photographer, the yearbook staff, and your family… not good:(

Larissa: Class of 2011 | Corvallis Senior Portrait Photographer

It’s that time of year again for high school senior portraits! I had a great time photographing Larissa the other day — we went to all kinds of cool locations! Below are some of my favorites:

Thanks for the fun photo shoot Larissa!!

Shawna’s Portraits | Corvallis Senior Portrait Photographer

I photographed Shawna last week during one of the most nastiest days of the year — the wind was so crazy! Despite that, her photos turned out wonderful! I had a lot of fun getting artistic shots of her that really match her personality. A few of my favorites:

Mother’s Day Gift Certificates | Corvallis Portrait Photographer

Mother’s Day is a little over a month away, it’s Sunday, May 9th. A great gift idea for a mom that has everything is a portrait session for her and her family. All the Mom’s I know would love this gift! I offer beautiful gift certificates that make a great present:

If you are interested in purchasing one please contact me or come by my studio. My schedule has changed and I am at the studio now on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s (unless I’m out shooting)!

These gift certificates were made by my very talented friend Ashley of AEL Designs.

Finding a Photography Niche

I read over and over that to succeed in the photography business you must have a niche. I’ve honestly been looking for my niche for eight years now, since I started this business. I’ve recently come to a realization that the truth is I don’t want to just photograph one type of thing, i.e. a “niche”. I love variety, I love surprise, I love working with all kinds of people and situations — I love it all!

So if someone asks me my niche I am just going to reply with “I photograph everything!” because I do and I’m happy doing it!
