Cody + Pamela’s Engagement Session | Corvallis Wedding Photographer

Last week I had so much fun with Cody and Pamela! It was a beautiful fall day and we went to several locations around Corvallis. I love engagement sessions because it’s a time when I get to know the couple — we get to have fun and enjoy our time together without time constraints.

I think their images turned out amazing!! Below are some of my favorites:

Thanks Cody and Pamela for being so much fun!! I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next summer! ♥-Sara

Office Closed: October 15-26th

I will be on vacation October 15-26th and the office will be completely closed – that means I will not be returning calls or emails because I will not have access to technology. I am posting this on my blog to let my clients know that I am inaccessible during this time period.

If you are a high school senior and need your yearbook photo turned into the school let me know this week so that I have time to prepare, order, and submit it for you. The yearbook deadline for this is the week that I’ll be gone.

Larissa: Class of 2011 | Corvallis Senior Portrait Photographer

Thanks for the fun photo shoot Larissa!!

Baby L | Family & Baby Portrait Photographer in Corvallis

Baby L is such a doll! I had a great time photographing her – she is full of smiles and loved being all dressed up in her tutu and pearls!! And her piercing blue eyes shine with such sparkle!  Below are some of my favorites from the day:

Today the Chamber came to my studio to give me a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. My husband took this photo:

Relay For Life at OSU: May 14th & 15th

This year I am sponsoring an event close to my heart: Relay for Life at Oregon State University. This event is the largest fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The reason it is close to my heart is because  when I was in college my Mom, Dad, and cat all had Cancer in the same year. It was absolutely devastating. Luckily, my parents survived the Cancer.

We need all the support we can get at this event!  The event is this weekend May 14th & 15th in the Memorial Union Quad. I donated a gift certificate for the silent auction as well as provided a special discount to the participants . For more information go to the website:

Luminaries are written in memory or in honor of somebody’s battle against cancer. Below is a beautiful photo taken of the luminaries by Michael Lee:

Happy Mother’s Day!

This is a day early but I wanted to tell all you Mother’s “Happy Mother’s Day”!! Motherhood is a hard job and we all deserve a little praise :)

I will be spending my weekend with my daughter, husband, mother, sister, nieces, and grandmother — it’s going to be a perfect Mother’s Day! Little Lily couldn’t wait until tomorrow to give me the gift she made! I love it!!:

Mother’s Day THIS Sunday! A Great Gift Idea…

I posted about this a month ago, but decided to post again because people have been so happy with this suggestion and Mother’s Day is this Sunday! When was the last time your parents had their portrait taken together? Or the whole family?!? It’s the perfect gift…

A great gift idea for a mom that has everything is a portrait session for her and her family. All the Mom’s I know would love this gift! I offer beautiful gift certificates that make a great present:

If you are interested in purchasing one please contact me or come by my studio. My schedule has changed and I am at the studio now on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s (unless I’m out shooting)!

These gift certificates were made by my very talented friend Ashley of AEL Designs.

Beautiful People | Oregon Portrait Photographer

Below are some of my favorite photos taken of the beautiful people I photographed at the Atavista Garden Event:

Thanks to everyone who showed up! It was a pleasure meeting you and I enjoyed photographing you all! I know many of you blog readers wanted to come but because it was on a Friday it was hard for you to attend. Next year I’ll be sure to do it on a weekend day — this year I was already booked with other shoots during the weekend.

Whiteside Theatre, Corvallis Oregon

Below are some images I took at the historic Whiteside Theatre. They are giving free tours and since I love historical old buildings I had to go! I wish modern architecture had this kind of detail:
