Last week I did a quick shoot for the ladies at Love Yoga Studio in Albany:

Artist’s Reception: Saturday November 6th, 5-7pm
I have an Art Show hanging through the end of November at New Morning Bakery (219 Southwest 2nd Street) in downtown Corvallis – it features my wedding and portrait work. I photographed Akshya and Dee’s engagement session last month on one of the warmest days of the month – we had to reschedule once due to rain and luckily this day turned out great! It was so much fun taking creative shots of them and getting to know each other a bit. Thanks you two and congratulations on your engagement!! Below are some of my favorites (there were so many great ones it was hard to narrow it down!) — I love the use of lighting and sunflare in some of these:
Sam and Tara laugh a lot together and when you are around them it’s contagious! I love it! It poured pretty much the whole day of their wedding and the venue was outdoors at The Garden in the Woods, but they absolutely did not let the rain ruin their special day. In fact, I think the rain added to the intimacy of the wedding! It was raining during the ceremony so my assistant didn’t get to take any shots she just held the umbrella over me the whole time, thanks Amber! We even did the formals in the rain — everyone was such a great sport about it! The rain did limited the picture time and creativity a bit, but I still got a lot of great images. This crowd sure knows how to have fun! Below are a few of my favorites:

I photographed Luke and Jen’s wedding last week at Yellow Gold Farm with the reception taking place at Spring Hill Country Club. This was the most fairytale-like wedding that I have ever been a part of! Every detail was carefully though out and my favorite elements were the surprise entrance with a horse drawn carriage and the fog machine during the first dance — how unique and fun!! There are so many great images it’s hard to choose favorites, but here goes:

Last Saturday I had the honor of photographing Ace and Kaitlin’s gorgeous wedding at Eagle Rock Lodge. Katilin and Ace did not want many formals so we spent most of our photography time taking creative shots of them and all the great details! This is SO fun for me as the photographer!!! Their wedding was so elegant, full of beautiful details, a gorgeous setting, and the couple was so very sweet – a photographers dream really!!

Matt and Becky’s wedding kicked off the season for me and it was a perfect wedding – fun, beautiful, relaxing, and Matt and Becky are two of the sweetest people ever!! All their guests kept talking about how wonderful they are and I feel very lucky to have been part of such a special event. I had such a wonderful time spending the morning with Matt and Becky for their engagement session! We started off at a park in Lebanon and then ended at Matt’s parents house which is where their wedding reception is going to be.

Thanks to everyone who showed up! It was a pleasure meeting you and I enjoyed photographing you all! I know many of you blog readers wanted to come but because it was on a Friday it was hard for you to attend. Next year I’ll be sure to do it on a weekend day — this year I was already booked with other shoots during the weekend.
Today I was in the mood to photograph something other than people. So I started photographing this lovely bouquet of Bearded Irises that my husband picked me. My daughter saw me doing this and decided she should be photographed! Since she is one of my favorite subjects I gladly took some images of her. Here’s the many faces of my Angel Baby Lily, isn’t she getting so big?!:
